Michael is a minister, counselor, and blogger residing in Efland, North Carolina. He attained his BA degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Michael went on to receive his M.A. in Christian Counseling from Southeastern Seminary and his PhD. in Christian Counseling Psychology from Cornerstone University.
Michael has been a counselor for over 15 years. He worked as a Case Manager at Holly Hill Hospital in Raleigh, NC and later in private practice as a counselor at CrossPointe Biblical Counseling Center. He has also served on staff at three churches, is now serving as Pastor at Cane Creek Baptist Church in Hillsborough. Michael has served as a featured speaker at a variety of venues and events.
Michael’s passion is to help people thrive relationally and to enjoy the full and impactful life they were created to live. In his free time, Michael enjoys serving as a Docent at the North Carolina Museum of Art. His favorite place on earth is anywhere his wife Mindi and children Makena and Carter happen to be.
