A sickly child, Roosevelt fought to become everything he thought a man should be. Brash but intelligent, Roosevelt climbed the ranks quickly to become the youngest president at that time. Theodore Rex is the second of a trilogy of books concerning Theodore Roosevelt by preeminent biographer Edmund Morris. The life of Roosevelt is in turns interesting,  heartbreaking, and at others maddening, but it’s always entertaining reading. I highly recommend it!
